How our guides are written and checked
Windows 10 Support has been publishing Windows guides since 2015. The site is edited by Lesia Kapliuk, who has run its content since it started. Over the years articles were commissioned from a number of freelance technical writers, and the non-English editions were produced by machine translation — a reasonable choice at the time, and one we are now undoing: translations are being replaced with edited versions, and older guides that no longer match the current Windows interface are being rewritten.
Guides that have been reviewed carry the name of the editor who checked them and the date of the check. Guides not yet reviewed are published under the site name. The original publication date is always shown unchanged.
We use AI tools to help draft and translate. No guide is published on the strength of a generated draft alone: every article we publish or update is performed on a real Windows 10 or Windows 11 machine by a named editor.
